Charging your Jeep Wrangler 4xe at home

On a reinforced grip
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe comes standard with a cable suitable for home charging. This is a 6 meter long Mode 2 cable with ICCB (in Cable Control Box). It allows you to plug your vehicle into a reinforced household socket.

Recharging on a reinforced socket is a simple and practical solution, but relatively slow. It takes 5h30 for a full recharge (from 20% to 100%) on a reinforced 3 kW socket. Just upgrade with our Jeep Wrangler aftermarket headlights, they will not consume too much power.

On a charging station
To charge faster, you must install a charging station at your home. This may be the EVBox Elvi terminal offered by Jeep, or another model such as the Schneider EVlink Wallbox Plus 7kW or the Hager Witty Start with key 7 kW.

Note that the Jeep Wrangler PHEV can receive a maximum charging power of 7.2 kW. We therefore recommend that you opt for a 3.7 kW or 7.4 kW charging station. If you choose an 11 kW or 22 kW model, you will not be able to take full advantage of its power. Indeed, charging your Jeep Wrangler 4xe will be limited to 7.2 kW.

To fully charge your Jeep Wrangler PHEV (from 20% to 100%), you will need:

4h25 on a 3.7 kW Wallbox;
2h15 on a Wallbox of 7.4 kW or more.
On a standard outlet
Remember that it is not recommended to plug an electric vehicle or PHEV into a standard household outlet. Indeed, it is preferable to use a reinforced socket that allows secure charging.

However, the Mode 2 cable supplied with the vehicle allows the Jeep Wrangler 4xe to be plugged into a standard household outlet. You will thus be able to recover a little less than 6 km of autonomy per hour of recharging.

Running on electric has never been so IZI!

Charge your Jeep Wrangler PHEV at public charging stations
You should already know that the Jeep Wrangler 4xe does not support direct current (DC) charging. You must therefore choose a public charging station powered by alternating current (AC). To connect, use the Mode 3 cable supplied with the vehicle.

Public AC charging stations work like Wallboxes. The maximum power accepted (7.2 kW AC) and the charging times are identical to those indicated above.
