Two years away from dealerships have been enough for Harley-Davidson to have perfected the Road Glide Ultra touring bike, now revised to Project Rushmore quality standards.
Lovers of custom touring motorcycles are in luck if they are looking for a new companion. Among the 2016 Harley-Davidson novelties there is room for the return to the market of the Harley-Davidson Road Glide Ultra. She returns after two years 'in the fridge' and in shape thanks to the Rushmore project.
Harley has overhauled the Road Glide Ultra with active user feedback and the result is all in the little details. The dynamics have been improved with its new 49mm fork that is up to 18% stiffer than the previous one, standard air-regulated suspension, Brembo caliper brakes and standard cruise control.
The fairings of the bike have also been revised, the 13.5-inch windscreen with chrome edges, the Impeller wheels, the Tour Pak luggage rack of the house or the two-seater seat with leather armrests. And it is more practical with its Road Glide LED lighting, the One Touch philosophy to open the glove boxes and suitcases, in addition to its Boom Box 6.5 GT radio, the integrated info-leisure system or the USB socket for smartphones or other devices.
